This project involves Kikuzuki Building Co., Ltd. constructing a hotel on the site of the Kikuzuki Building, which has been popular with local residents for many years, and Vessel Hotels operating the hotel.

Continuing to aim to be a place loved by the local community
The hotel's location was once home to a Japanese confectionery shop called "Kikugetsudo," which was founded in 1914 (Taisho 3) and had been in business for over 100 years. Residents of the Takadanobaba area frequently visited the shop to purchase its popular uguisu mochi and dorayaki, and the quiet, relaxing sweets cafe inside the shop was a popular place to relax. When the building was being rebuilt, the business owner wanted to create a facility that would be useful to the local Takadanobaba community, so he decided to build a hotel in Takadanobaba, where there are few hotels.

Takadanobaba is known for its retro atmosphere and many beloved spots, such as Sakae-dori Street. There are also many billiards, table tennis, and game centers, so you can enjoy a variety of activities while immersing yourself in a nostalgic atmosphere. Takadanobaba is also famous for being home to many universities, attracting students from all over the country. You can feel the energy of young people in this town the moment you step out of Takadanobaba Station.

By operating a hotel in a place that has long been loved by local residents and in a town that is brimming with vibrant energy, we aim to create a hotel that will be enjoyed and enjoyed by many visitors to the area.
