SITE USAGE POLICYTerms of Use

Vessel Hotel Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the company”) runs this website (https://www.vessel-hotel.jp/) and the provision of its online hotel reservation system (hereinafter referred to as “the system”) according to the Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the “terms”) listed below.

Article 1 (Basic Compliance)

When using this system, customers must comply with the general manners, morals, and technical rules of using the Internet.
2.
Use of this system for profit is strictly prohibited, regardless of the reason.

Article 2. Breaches of Basic Compliance

Customers whose actions do or may cause damage or inconveniences to third parties or the system, and customers who perform any other acts deemed by the company to be inappropriate may be denied access to the system and/or usage of the hotels operated by the company.

Article 3 (Issues Caused by Customers' Viewing Environments)

This system is intended for usage by customers who have correctly set up their (Japanese) text display, e-mails, and printers. We are not responsible for any operational errors or related effects of such actions by users who do not meet these conditions. Even if the above conditions are met, problems due to issues with the customer's viewing environment settings are outside the company's control. The company does not take any responsibility for issues regarding the system not working correctly or any related effects thereof.

Article 4 (System Usage Requirements)

Only customers who have agreed to these terms may use this system.
By placing a reservation using this system, the customer will be deemed to have agreed to and comply with these terms.

Article 5 (Services Provided by the System)

This system allows customers to make reservations for a portion of the accommodation products provided at hotels run by the company.

Article 6 (Compliance with Reserved Product Usage Rules)

By using the company's reserved products, customers agree to also abide by the terms and separate Accommodation Policy that the company has set regarding the hotels it runs.

Article 7 (Notes on Using the System)

Using the services provided by this system does not entitle users any more priority than customers using other services (including booking via telephone or via any other booking method for hotels run by the company). Consequently, reserving a room may not be possible due to a hotel already being fully booked.

Article 8 (User Responsibilities)

When customers use this system, they will be responsible for any actions they perform and any actions performed through their email accounts and the results thereof, regardless of whether said actions were performed by the customer or were due to their negligence. In addition, if a customer causes damage to a third party when using this system, the customer will be responsible for resolving any disputes with that third party at their own expense, unless the damage is caused due to the company's negligence.
2.
If a user causes damage to the company and/or the system due to any of the following actions, the company may claim reimbursement for all damages caused by the user.
・ When the user violates the terms, the separately listed Accommodation Policy or the rules of the hotels run by the company.
・ When sending and/or writing harmful computer programs.
・ When the information of a third party is sent or written.
・ When a customer uses the hotels run by the company without permission for any purpose besides personal use. 
・ When any other acts that violate laws and regulations in Japan are committed.

Article 9 (Conclusion of a Reservation)

A reservation using this system will be deemed concluded when the reservation details page is displayed on the customer's screen.

Article 10 (Cancellations and Changes to Reservations )

Changes to and cancellations of reservations made using this site shall be made with the customer's ID and password for this site.

Article 11 (Penalty Charges)

If the reservation at a hotel run by the company is canceled due to reasons attributable to the user, penalty charges for compensation as specified in the Accommodation Policy for hotels run by the company will be filed. Please contact each hotel by telephone for details.

Article 12 (Preparing to Use the System)

To use this system, it is absolutely necessary to have the following:
1. An email account that can both send and receive emails
2. A computer that can connect to the Internet

Article 13 (Reservation Application)

Please enter the required personal information correctly into the reservation application form for the desired product.
2.
Entering incorrect personal information on the reservation application form may result in the nullification of the reservation.

Article 14 (Changes to System Content)

Changes to the operation or content of this system may be made without prior notice to the customer if such actions regarding hotels run by the company are deemed necessary. Please read these terms every time you use the service. After changes are made to these terms, only the content after the changes will be valid, while the content before the changes will be deemed invalid.

Article 15 (Temporary Suspension of Usage)

The company may suspend the use of the system temporarily without prior notice to or consent from customers in the following cases.

1.
When performing maintenance or other work on the system.
2.
When natural disasters, natural calamities, or other emergencies occur or are likely to occur that make operation difficult.
3.
When the company deems it necessary to temporarily suspend the use of this system for other reasons related to the operation of this site and/or system.

Article 16 (Governing Laws of the System)

This system shall be governed by laws valid in Japan.

Article 17 (Validity of these Rules)

This agreement is effective beginning February 1, 2010 Japan Standard Time. The hotel may revise or change these rules due to changes in the socio-economic situation or other various circumstances.

PRIVACY POLICY

Vessel Hotel Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the company") understands that it is the responsibility of the company to manage personal information securely, and we strive to properly handle personal information based on the policy below.

1. Acquisition of Personal Information

The company acquires personal information through lawful and fair means.

2. Use of Personal Information

The personal information acquired by the company will be used for the purpose indicated at the time of acquisition or within a range that is reasonably related to the purpose of use when it is necessary for the execution of business. When outsourcing the handling of personal information to a third party, we supervise the other party of the joint usage and the third party to ensure the proper handling of personal information.

3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The company will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the person involved, except when it is required by law.

4. Management of Personal Information

The company will implement the necessary and appropriate measures to see that information is securely managed, kept accurate and up-to-date, and that the personal information is not lost, falsified or leaked.

5. Disclosure, Correction, Suspension and Deletion of Personal Information

The company acknowledges that an individual has the right to request the disclosure, correction, suspension of use, and deletion of his/her personal information, and if there is any such request, the request will be handled promptly and without objection after the procedure prescribed by the company is followed.

6. Corporate Organization

The company will implement appropriate management of personal information used for business purposes and will establish a system to properly handle any such personal information.

7. Formulation, Implementation, Maintenance and Improvement of the Privacy Regulations

In order to realize this policy, the company will form regulations to protect personal information, disseminate these regulations throughout the company through training and education, implement them, and continuously improve them to maintain the best practice of this policy at all times.
