Kashogama is located in the Kiyomizu-dera area, about a 20-minute bus ride from Kyoto Station.
Located at the intersection of Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kodai-ji Temple, Yasaka Koshin-do Temple, and Yasaka Pagoda are all within a 10-minute walk, making it extremely accessible.

At Kashogama, you can easily try out using a potter's wheel, and even those with no experience can make a piece in about 20 minutes.
You can enjoy it at a reasonable price.

One of REF's concepts is "Experience/Enjoy the experience."
So, let's have a pottery experience with the manager and assistant manager!

First, a staff member from Kashogama demonstrated how to make the pottery for about three minutes.
Apparently, staff can complete it in just a few minutes.

Now, let's give it a try!!

When I actually tried it, the clay was harder than I expected, and I struggled to create the first shape...
However, the staff explained things like finger shape and force to use in a clear and easy-to-understand manner, so even beginners were able to do it with ease!

It really only takes about 20 minutes to complete!

Finally, choose your preferred color from the samples and whether you want handles or not.
The finished product will be delivered to your home in about two weeks, so even customers from far away can rest assured.

By the way, our work appears in the photo of welcome drink on the service page.
Please be sure to check it out!

During the experience, you will be provided with a lap blanket and apron, so you can stop by and try it out while strolling around in a kimono.

To apply for a trial class, you can make a reservation online by the day before, or by phone on the day itself.
Because the shop is made of glass, customers passing by sometimes drop in.

Be sure to try it out and make it a memorable memory of Kyoto.
