(located in Kikuchi-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture, Manager: Takanori Iwashita), has renewed its breakfast buffet featuring a variety of delicious local menu foods from the Aso region and Kumamoto.

■ Breakfast "MOTTO! Breakfast at the foot of Mt. Aso"
The breakfast buffet at VESSEL HOTEL KUMAMOTO AIRPORT has been revamped under the new concept of "MOTTO! Breakfast at the Foot of Aso," to deliver the delicious charms of the Aso region and Kumamoto.
The new menu has been upgraded with the addition of local menu such as "Umadashi Miso Stewed Oden" that is full of the delicious flavor of horse tendon, "Horse Shigure Cooked Rice", "Original Tomato Curry", and "Chikuwa Salad" that you can enjoy freshly fried. The popular Tai Ping Yen and Kumamoto Ramen will change daily, and we will continue to offer mustard lotus root and takana shumai. We have a wide variety of menu items so that we can convey the charm of the region through the food of Kumamoto.
Due to this breakfast renewal, breakfast will be charged for reservations made after November 16, 2024. Breakfast will be free for reservations made by November 15, 2024, for stays after November 16, 2024.

■ Introducing our new menu
"Umadashi miso stewed oden"
This miso-boiled oden is made with daikon radish, konjac, and deep-fried tofu in a broth that is rich in the flavor of horse tendon. It looks sturdy, but has a light taste and is packed with flavor.

"Original Tomato Curry"
Kumamoto is by far the largest producer of tomatoes in Japan, and we have prepared an original curry inspired by Kumamoto tomatoes, with a delicious tomato flavor and refreshing acidity.


"Chikuwa salad"
Chikuwa salad is a local delicacy loved by locals. It is a classic Kumamoto dish made by stuffing a chikuwa (fish cake) with salad such as potato salad and deep frying it. This is an experiential menu where you can enjoy freshly fried chikuwa at your table along with mustard lotus root.

"Rice cooked with horseradish"
A luxurious rice dish with horse tendon and lean meat simmered in sweet and spicy soy sauce. Served as a daily special.

"Sweet potato zenzai"
This dessert is inspired by Kumamoto, a major producer of sweet potatoes. It is an original zenzai made with sweet potatoes and Aso Oguni Jersey milk, as well as sweet potato, kidney beans, and shiratama dango, with a touch of cinnamon.

"Kyushu's cheap snack 'Kurobo'"
Kurobo is a popular snack in Kyushu. The dough is coated with brown sugar and is crunchy on the outside, yet moist on the inside. It is a simple-tasting snack.

About VESSEL HOTEL KUMAMOTO AIRPORT
The hotel is approximately 23 minutes by car from Kumamoto Interchange. It is 1.5 km, or approximately 3 minutes by car, from Higo-Otsu Station. A free, flat parking lot with 78 spaces is available, making it convenient for car trips. All 132 hotel rooms will be renovated in August 2023. Guests can now remove their shoes in the rooms, creating a safe and comfortable space. The hotel offers a coin laundry, vending machines, an ice machine, a microwave, and free use of computers and printers.
