Mihama American Village, a seaside resort town with an American atmosphere and home to VESSEL HOTEL CAMPANA OKINAWA and Lequ Okinawa Chatan Spa & Resort, has been hosting a three-minute fireworks display every Saturday night at 8:00 PM since August 8, 2020. While the nationwide stay-at-home order has been lifted due to the spread of COVID-19, there are fewer summer events than usual, and economic and emotional depression continues. Inspired by the message, "Even in these circumstances, there are people who choose Okinawa as a travel destination and visit. We want to cheer up these tourists and local Okinawans," businesses along the Chatan west coast and Vessel Hotels joined as sponsors to launch the fireworks display, expressing hopes for an end to the COVID-19 pandemic and support for medical workers.
To coincide with the fireworks, we are offering a special plan on Saturdays that includes a fireworks view and ocean view, creating a memorable experience for your trip. We offer an ocean view room where you can spend weekend nights with your loved ones, full of smiles.
