Lequ Okinawa Chatan Spa ＆ Resort 's new annex opens
Luxury resort for families

Vessel Hotel Development Co., Ltd., which operates hotels nationwide under the concept of "We love you, your family, and this city." will open the "Reku Okinawa Chatan Spa & Resort Premier" (General Manager: Takatoshi Sakamoto) in Mihama, Chatan-cho, Nakagami-Vessel Hotels, Okinawa Prefecture on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.
"Lequ Okinawa Chatan Spa ＆ Resort" opened its main building in March 2020 as the first resort hotel of Vessel Hotels. The premier building that will open this time will provide even higher quality service, an extraordinary experience, and a special private space for guests who want a more luxurious experience.

Hotel design that combines Art Deco and Okinawa modern style
Based on the concept of "a fusion of Art Deco and Okinawa modern," the guest rooms have a lot of space, terraces and some rooms have private pools, original design furniture, and plenty of rattan and wicker are used, creating a comfortable home-like atmosphere while also expressing a resort style. Furthermore, to express the Okinawan atmosphere, original tapestries made with gold leaf and dyed by Okinawan artists and carpets with graphics inspired by rippling waves and sandy beaches are used, and Okinawan materials (Ryukyu limestone) are used extensively for the floors of the entrance and terrace of the suite rooms. By harmonizing Okinawan art into the space, a more high-quality environment is created.

Freshly brewed coffee from Okinawa and other great services for family trips
Exclusively for guests staying in the Diamond Suite and Gold Suite, we will provide a plate of coffee and sweets from ZHYVAGO COFFEE, a coffee stand from Chatan, Okinawa. We will welcome you with freshly brewed coffee. In addition, we offer a full range of services to make your stay a pleasant one for the whole family, including a free sleeping service for children under 18, free rental and provision of various items, and free breakfast for children under 5. Vessel Hotels currently operates 26 facilities across the country, and is scheduled to operate a total of 31 facilities, including a hotel scheduled to open in the fall of 2021.

Title: Coral Sea
Okinawa is home to some of the world's largest coral reefs. The coral that surrounds the island grows in abundant sunlight. The sunlight that shines into the sea causes the light to flicker gently, and the coral that peeks out from under the clear water sparkles as it sways in the light of the waves.

We designed accessories and furniture using wicker and rattan, which give a resort feel.
By using natural colors and materials, we selected items that will never get boring and will blend better into the space as the years go by.

♦ Landscape UDS Satoshi Koizumi
The placement of vibrant plants in a simple, high-quality interior space creates an extraordinary feeling.
The plan for this project was not to create a garden to look at, but rather to create a beautiful landscape that would allow guests to actually step out onto the terrace and enjoy the outdoor space.

♦ Flower Artist MICHIKO
The main focus of the decoration is on shell ginger, a plant that has long been popular in Okinawa, where its leaves are used to wrap rice cakes (muchi) and its seeds are used to make traditional Chinese medicine, as well as tropical palm leaves and other unique fruits and leaves.
