Non-contact temperature sensor system

Our hotel has been closed since Monday, April 27, 2020, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, but will reopen on Wednesday, July 1. Upon reopening, we will be introducing this system as part of our efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, with the safety and security of our guests as our top priority, in accordance with the "New Hokkaido Style" Safety Declaration issued by the Hokkaido Prefectural Government.

This system has been adopted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, and more, and our hotel is the first to introduce it in Sapporo. A high-precision sensor checks body temperature in front of the front desk. There is no contact with other people during the temperature check, so you can use the service with peace of mind without worrying about the risk of infection. Temperatures can be taken in approximately 0.2 seconds, even while wearing a mask. Enjoy stress-free use.

If a guest's temperature is detected to be 37.5°C or higher after the temperature check, we will ask them to take their temperature again with a contact thermometer and fill out a health check sheet.We may also impose restrictions on their use of the facility depending on their symptoms.

Upon resuming business, our hotel will implement the following measures in accordance with the "New Hokkaido Style" safety declaration to ensure that our guests can use our facilities with peace of mind.

≪Seven customs≫

① Staff will wear masks and wash their hands frequently.
- When serving customers, customers are required to wear masks and are required to wash their hands, gargle, and disinfect.

②We will thoroughly manage the health of our staff.
- Health checks will be conducted when employees arrive at work, and employees with a temperature of 37.0°C or higher will not be allowed to come to work.
- Refrain from unnecessary outings and attending meetings.

③Regular ventilation will be carried out within the facility.
- When cleaning guest rooms, open the windows to ensure adequate ventilation.
- Public spaces will be ventilated using air conditioning equipment.

④We will regularly disinfect and clean facilities, guest rooms, etc.
- Strengthened disinfection of items that guests touch (doorknobs, remote controls, etc.) in guest rooms.
- Public spaces are regularly disinfected and cleaned with alcohol.

⑤We will work to reduce opportunities for person-to-person contact.
- Clear curtains have been installed to prevent droplet infection.
- Standing position signs have been installed at the front desk.

⑥ We also ask customers to observe cough etiquette and wash their hands.

・Please wear a mask at all times inside the building.
- Guests are asked to wear masks and disposable gloves during breakfast.
