Vessel Hotel Development Co., Ltd. (Head office: 3-4-27 Minami Honjo, Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, President and CEO: Yoshiro Seo, hereinafter referred to as Vessel Hotels), which develops hotel business nationwide with the concept of "Loving you, your family and the city", will grand open the first resort hotel of Vessel Hotels, "Lequ Okinawa Lequ Okinawa Chatan Spa ＆ Resort" in Chatan Town, Nakagami District, Okinawa Prefecture on March 1, 2020. It is the fifth new brand of Vessel Hotels, and we named it Lequ from "Le ad to Qu ality Time" with the desire to deliver a time to spend with loved ones with a smile while feeling the extraordinary without being too pretentious.

Vessel Hotels currently operates 25 properties nationwide, with a total of 31 properties, including hotels that will open in the summer of 2021.

The hotel features a spa located on the top floor. The infinity pool overlooks the city and the sea of Chatan. In particular, the setting sun and the view from the standing pool and jacuzzi can be enjoyed only here. At night, the pool is lit up, and you can enjoy original cocktails and Okinawan drinks by the pool at the adjacent cafe and bar.

We offer courses such as a natural hot spring pumped from a 1,400m underground, which is very rare in Okinawa, and a spa using argan oil by the Hawaiian relaxation salon "SPA SOLANI OKINAWA CHATAN".

In addition, based on the concept of an exciting resort kitchen, we offer local Okinawan cuisine using ingredients unique to Okinawa, as well as colorful tropical fruits and staff-made rek-original sweets.

The "Lequ Okinawa Chatan Spa ＆ Resort Premier" is scheduled to open in June 2020. We plan to open it as an even more special resort hotel.

■ Infinity pool and cafe & bar shining on the top floor

The spa located on the top floor has an infinity pool with panoramic views of the city of Chatan, and offers a beautiful sunset view at dusk. It is also an area where you can experience extraordinary luxury, such as a 3m high standing pool and jacuzzi.

The cafe and bar offers original cocktails using Awamori “Chura Fruit Awamori”, “Lequ Coffee Awamori”, fruit drinks, snacks, etc., so you can spend a relaxing time by the pool. In the evening, the pool is lit up, and in a calm atmosphere, enjoy a drink or original drink while looking down at the night view of Chatan.

■ Vessel Hotels first natural hot spring

Chatan Onsen is the first natural hot spring at Vessel Hotels. A natural hot spring raised from 1,400 meters underground will heal the fatigue of your trip and provide you with a relaxing time. The public bath which features large windows full of openness, is fully equipped with saunas for both men and women. Natural hot springs are also used for rooftop pool rock baths.

■ Relaxation salon "SPA SOLANI OKINAWA CHATAN"

At the SPA SOLANI OKINAWA CHATAN relaxation salon, we offer Hawaiian spas using original merchandise that incorporates Okinawan ingredients to fulfill your wishes to be beautiful. Gives skin a natural beauty by using oil carefully selected from organic plant ingredients. We offer a wide variety of menus, including body treatments, massage, and partial quick treatments. Vessel Hotels is the first spa in the hotel.

■ Exciting resort kitchen at the beginning of the day

In order to enjoy the extraordinary and liberating feeling of the place of Okinawa, at the beginning of the day, we have prepared a rich menu of menus that can only be experienced here, with the concept of an exciting resort kitchen. In addition, there are many dishes using Okinawan ingredients and home-made local Okinawan dishes, so you can enjoy the Okinawan flavor from the morning.

In particular, Reku Original Souffle hamburgers will enjoy the experience of having customers make and eat hamburgers using Okinawan Japanese black beef and Agu pork and original souffle baked at the hotel. The vessel that provides the ingredients uses Okinawan pottery “Yachimun”. Incorporating the Okinawan character everywhere, you can enjoy the whole thing.

Vessel Hotels has been renewing the breakfast menu of existing hotels, including newly opened hotels, since 2018. The concept of each hotel is based on the theme of "feeling the area with breakfast" and "feeling the four seasons of Japan". To date, the renewal of 14 existing hotels, including Okinawa / Ishigaki Island, Kumamoto and Kyoto, has been completed.
