As part of the hotel's concept, we have prepared two "Iyotetsu Rooms" that use parts of actual railway carriages. In addition, each guest room will be decorated with train straps, and we also offer rooms with views of the trams, suburban trains, and Botchan trains running through the city.
■About the concept room "Iyotetsu Room"
The "Iyotetsu Room" is made from reused parts from a retired train that was in service for approximately 60 years. We decided to create this room in the hope that by reusing the train cars that have been in service with Iyotetsu, beloved by local residents for a long time, we can help revitalize the local area. To create the room, we tried crowdfunding and received support from everyone to cover part of the costs of dismantling, relocating, and installing the train cars. The "Iyotetsu Room" is filled with the thoughts of everyone who supported us, using the funds of our many supporters.
The guest rooms use actual parts such as the driver's seat, flooring, handrails, and panels. There are also model trains (N gauge) running, so both train enthusiasts and those who are not interested in trains can enjoy just looking at them. The "Iyotetsu Room" is made from a retired train car that would not normally be used, and can be used as an educational space to help children understand the importance of taking care of things.
