Vessel Hotel Development Co., Ltd., which develops hotel businesses nationwide, with the concept of "We love you, your family, and this city." Construction is scheduled to begin in early November, with completion and opening planned for the summer of 2022.

Izumisano City has been working on the "Izumisano East Station Square Hotel Construction Project" for some time. This project was initiated by the city in an effort to attract hotels in order to increase the number of accommodation options for people using Kansai International Airport. The current "Station Square Traffic Plaza," owned by Izumisano City on the east side of the station, will be preserved, while the hotel and deck plaza (public open space) will be constructed using the multi-level space above it.

Izumisano City, located across the bay from Kansai International Airport, Japan's leading international airport, is known as the "gateway city connecting Japan with the world." REF Kansai Airport by VESSEL HOTELS (tentative name), located on land adjacent to Izumisano Station, will offer services to suit the lifestyles of a wide range of people, including airport users, tourists visiting Rinku Town and Izumisano City, and those traveling with their families or on business.

"REF Kansai Airport by VESSEL HOTELS" (tentative name) will be the fourth hotel under the "REF Kumamoto by VESSEL HOTELS" brand, following "REF Omiya by VESSEL HOTELS" which opened in December 2019, "REF Kyoto Hachijoguchi by VESSEL HOTELS" which opened in September 2020, and "REF by VESSEL HOTELS" which is scheduled to open in March 2021.

"REF" is derived from Regional, Experience, and Flexible, and is the fourth hotel brand from Vessel Hotels, which offers guests the essential value of travel by unearthing the unique characteristics of the region, such as the nature, art, crafts, and food culture of the area. Among Vessel Hotels brands, this is a brand that specializes in regionality, and will be a hotel where you can discover and experience the charms of the various regions of Osaka and Izumisano. REF Kansai Airport by VESSEL HOTELS (tentative name) is directly connected to Nankai Electric Railway's Izumisano Station. Izumisano City is blessed with a beautiful natural environment, filled with mountains and rivers and greenery, and Izumisano Station is located in the heart of the city. It also offers direct access to Kansai Airport Station, the international gateway to Western Japan, and Rinku Town Station, a place for international exchange, without having to transfer.

We aim to be a hotel that communicates the charms of Izumisano, Osaka. With a space and experiential services that capture the unique characteristics of the region, such as local specialties like Senshu towels, onions, and water eggplants, as well as its history and culture, we aim to be a hotel that serves as a hub rooted in the local community, where guests can experience the various facets of Izumisano.

We cater to inbound travelers using Kansai International Airport, domestic travelers visiting Izumisano City and the Sennan region, and business travelers, as well as families traveling with small children. Children under 18 years old can stay free of charge if they share a room with their parents or grandparents and use existing bedding.
