■ Donate a part of the sales on March 8th (Monday) to "an organization that supports women"
Vessel Hotels supports the activities of International Women's Day and will donate a portion of the sales on the day of March 8 to organizations that support women around the world to live happily. As the movement to support women's participation in society has been recognized and spread all over the world, I wondered what we could do.
On the day of the event, we will decorate the front of the hotel with the symbol, the yellow flower of happiness, "Mimosa," in the hope that the activities of "International Women's Day" will spread widely to society. This initiative will be implemented at four hotels where women play an active role as managers at Vessel Hotels

VESSEL INN UENO IRIYA STATION Manager: Etsuko Okuno
He comes up with new ideas for collaborations with the food and beverage industry and launches new businesses. He continues to take on new challenges every day with the desire to contribute not only to his guests but also to the local community.

VESSEL INN SAKAE STATION Manager: Miki Tsuda
He was appointed manager at the youngest age in the history of Vessel Hotels (23 years old at the time). He demonstrated his skills with fresh ideas. He served as manager of two hotels and significantly improved the hotel's reputation.

REF Kyoto Hachijoguchi by VESSEL HOTELS Manager: Ayumi Ohno
As the opening manager, he opened a new hotel. Aiming to make the hotel a symbol of the town, he came up with ideas for experiential events and activities that the whole family could enjoy.

With the desire to be a hotel that benefits the local community, the hotel began selling the hotel's breakfast in bento boxes to the local community as part of an effort to reduce food waste. Word of mouth spread, and the response was so great that the hotel was featured on TV media.

Established as a day to celebrate women who contribute to society, International Women's Day has seen the culture of supporting women spread around the world in unique regional forms.
In Italy, March 8th is also known as Mimosa Day because mimosa flowers begin to bloom around this time of year. It is customary to give mimosa flowers, whose flower language is "gratitude," to express gratitude to women close to one's heart, such as one's mother, wife, or colleague.
